Three weeks after the elections in the state of Bavaria, the CSU and free voters today want to pave the way for the first black and orange coalition in the history of the free state. After the breakthrough in the coalition talks on Friday night, party committees meet Sunday afternoon: the CSU executive committee and the CSU parliamentary group, on the one hand, and the electorate of electors free, plus plus -lags, on the other. The consent of both parties is considered a formality. Monday morning, the coalition agreement should be signed. On Tuesday, Markus Söder (CSU) is expected to be elected to Parliament by the Prime Minister.
Söder and the boss of free voters, Hubert Aiwanger, announced Friday the agreement on a coalition agreement. As for the concrete results of the negotiations, the division of responsibilities or other details have not yet said anything, but referred to the meetings of the party committees on Sunday. Only then should the public be fully informed. For this purpose, separate press conferences of both parties are scheduled on Sunday evening from 18:00.
The CSU, which until now was the only one in power, had fallen to 37.2% in the legislative elections of 14 October and is therefore dependent on a coalition partner.
