EMUI 10: update of these smartphones Huawei and Honor

Tomorrow, Huawei wants to introduce its new interface Android-based EMUI 10. Already the first smartphones of the Chinese manufacturer and his daughter Honor are fixed, which will receive the new update. Even older models should be provided.

While the delivery of EMUI 9.1 is currently progressing faster than expected, the new EMUI 10 should be on everyone's lips tomorrow, Friday 9 August. Google's new operating system, Android 10 (Q), is currently in its sixth and final beta phase and should be finalized in the coming weeks. In the perspective of all presentations, Huawei and Honor have officially confirmed many smartphones that will receive not only the update for Android Q, but also for EMUI 10 and the Magic UI 3 renamed Honor.

Together with the two manufacturers, who operate under one roof, the models from the last two years are given priority. Among the P series are the Huawei P30 (Pro / Lite), the P20 (Pro) and the Huawei P Smart (Plus / Z) smartphones of the year 2019. In the Mate range, the EMUI 10 s turns out to be updated for Huawei Mate 20 devices (Pro / Lite), Mate 20 X (5G), Mate X and also for the Mate 10 (Pro). Some question marks are still behind the P20 Lite smartphones and almost all the Y models of the years 2019 and 2018.

However, the generally less expensive Honor subsidiary already confirms nine models that will officially receive an update of the Magic UI 3. However, Huaweicentral's colleagues are informally talking about at least 17 smartphones, which can rely on a new firmware based on Android Q. This includes, of course, mainly the newly introduced Honor 20, Pro and Lite smartphones. Also on the list are Honor 9X (Pro), Play, Magic 2, Honor 8X (Max), View 10, View 20, Grade 10, Honor 10 (GT / Lite) and Honor 8A and 8C.

When exactly will Huawei and Honor offer the EMUI 10 and the Magic UI 3 to download for their smartphones, is not yet known. It is widely accepted that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will be one of the first models to think outside the box with its new operating system and its new interface. Similar to the update of EMUI 9.1, the delivery will probably be in waves again, which should be announced in advance by Huawei.
