The 46-year-old was shot by a neighbor in Aurora, Colorado on Monday, and Cunningham was shot several times. This relates among other things Denver Post citing the police department of Arapahoe County.
The attacker, a 31-year-old man, reportedly attacked Cunningham on Monday before shooting deadly shots. Cunningham played nine games with the Seattle Seahawks as safety in the 1996-1997 NFL season.
