Fighting Sexism

Shachko had founded the 2008 Femen with three other women in Ukraine. In their protests, females usually appear shirtless. At first, they rebelled against badism. Later, their actions were directed against Russian President Vladimir Putin or against the French right-wing populist Rbademblement National

Exiled since 2013

Since 2013, Shachko lives in exile in France and works as an artist. France had given him the status of political refugee, because during his protests, Satschko had been severely abused several times by strangers

Note on suicide

Usually tagesschau.de does not report no suicides. We are guided by the Press Code: According to the report on suicidal coercion: "This applies in particular to the naming of names and the description of the nearest circumstances, an exception may be justified, for example, s & rsquo; It is a historical event ".

Another reason for our reluctance is the increase in the imitation rate after reporting a suicide.

If you are selfishly affected by suicidal thoughts, ask for help immediately. On the phone you will find contacts 24 hours a day, also anonymously.
