Bad Hersfeld. With a strong contingent, the firefighters extinguished a fire at the publishing house in the Hersfelder shield bath on Monday.
Updated at 20.23 clock – In the premises are among others the editions and sales of indicator circle and newspaper Hersfelder. The local HNA Rotenburg-Bebraer Allgemeine office is also housed in the building. On the roof of the part where the circular indicator is located, the fire had apparently exploded. The first official police press release was released shortly after 5 pm by e-mail. The column of smoke was visible from afar. The spectators were attracted by this. The people who worked in the building had to leave the rooms. In total, about two dozen people were affected. Nobody was hurt.

The building in question is located on Benno Schilde Square.

The cause of the fire has not yet been clarified. The first suspicion of the working groups goes in the direction of a technical defect. According to a conservative first estimate, the damages amount to more than 150,000 euros. The investigation took over the criminal police.
