First testers excited about the speed of the Android alternative

Huawei is working on its own mobile operating system. Although many details are not yet clear, no compromise should be made in terms of speed. The first reports are promising, but skepticism remains appropriate.

The Oak Huawei operating system: 60% faster than Android?

Huawei's operating system is taking more and more forms. Outside of China, it should be marketed in the same way as Oak OS, while in China, apparently, the name HongMeng OS is in the room. Whatever the name of the system, Huawei must hurry, because access to Android will probably be alert. Since it meets quite well, if the Chinese state newspaper helps a little marketing: Android applications on Oak OS would not only be compatible, but would work much faster. How exactly this value has been determined is not as clear as the answer to the question of which applications refer to the statement. Since it is unlikely that Huawei's mobile operating system will be released immediately, the information should also refer to an alpha or beta version. It is expected that Oak OS will be released in August or September 2019. According to Huawei, the appointment is "secret" – which does not mean anything else that the company itself does not know exactly when the system will be published.

Now, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo teams are supposed to help test the software. If Oak OS were to be successful, other smartphone makers could commit to preventing a possible US spell.

Huawei: symbiosis of hardware and software

That Android applications work much faster on the new Huawei system will be completed in the coming months.
