SG Flensburg-Handewitt completed and, three days after Skjern's 31:24 victory, he won the next "small final" of the Handball Champions League. The team of coach Maik Machulla triumphed Wednesday night in his own hall thanks to a superior defensive performance with a time of 27:25 (14:14) against the Hungarian champion, Pick Szeged.
