Football: an Irish club declares the player dead – to achieve the relocation of the match

In order to obtain the loss of a football match, an Irish amateur club declared a player dead.

Ballybrack FC has announced the death of Fernando Nuno La Fuente. Nothing has happened. Friends and colleagues had called him, reported the Spaniard of the "Irish Times": "So I discovered that I was supposedly dead."

Before the league games, a few minutes of silence and La Fuente and his wife had to rebadure several members of their family and friends after the terrible news. The club has publicly expressed its regret.

"They've also apologized to me," La Fuente said. "This has happened to no one, I think it's a bit funny." However, a now-famous club secretary Ballybrack FC has apparently lost his position.
