Hamburg (dpa / lno) – Motorists from the east of Hamburg have to make detours during the summer holidays: The Hamburg section of the A24 between Horner Kreisel and Hamburg – East is completely closed since Sunday evening until August 4th. The reason is a rehabilitation of the road. Traffic jams and traffic jams were not caught, a police spokesman said on Monday.
As a diversion, the transport authority recommends that the B5 move further south. Thanks to the complete closure, section A24 can be rehabilitated in four weeks. Under the normal procedure, construction work continued for nearly half a year, they said.
Traffic on the A7 south of Elbtunnel is also expected to slow down from Monday due to new work. The traffic authority has the three lanes in the direction of Hanover between Waltershof and Hausbruch re-asphalt. Part of the traffic will be routed in the opposite direction so that, despite the construction work, three lanes will be available in the north and south directions.
