Ikea: recall due to risk of injury – popular product concerned

Attention, consumers! The furniture giant Ikea is reminiscent of one of its popular products. This is one of the extension tables.

Hofheim-Wallau – Important news from the Swedish furniture giant Ikea: the company calls its extension table GLIVARP white with frosted glbad back. Several customers reported that one of the Ausziehplatten had detached from the rails and had collapsed, the company reported on Tuesday in Hofheim-Wallau.

Recall at Ikea: an extension table carries a risk of injury

"Customer safety is a top priority at Ikea, so we decided to recall the tables as a precautionary measure," said Ikea spokeswoman Cindy Andersen.

The furniture giant asks its customers owners of a GLIVARP extension table to return the product to an Ikea market. The purchase price will be fully refunded, according to Ikea, no proof of purchase is needed.

Not the first reminder at Ikea

Ikea had to recall its ceiling CALYPSO in September. The glbad screens could come off the support and fall.

But not only at the Swedish furniture store, the products are recalled.

Recently, a food manufacturer had to recall a popular product: it was contaminated with mold toxins.
