The court appointed Hamburg's lawyer, Jens-Sören Schröder, as insolvency administrator of the Klinck GmbH hairdressing business. According to Schröder, the company currently employs "close to 750 employees". It operates 95 salons in seven federal states – also under the brands Cut & Cash, F.B.I and TopHair. The focal points are Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. On its homepage, the company describes itself as an employer of 1,000 employees.
Employees should receive money from bankruptcy
"The Klinck hairdresser remains open, business is going on," said Schröder. Salaries and wages of employees must be secured by money from bankruptcy. He will today ask for the pre-financing of the insolvency money from the responsible employment agency in Kiel, he explained.

Insolvency Administrator: Declining sales cause problems
According to insolvency administrator Schröder, the looming insolvency is due to lower sales this year and the year before. This has led to bottlenecks in liquidity. Since Wednesday, Schröder has provided his own account with an overview of the financial situation of the company. Most salons would be in the dark, Schroeder said. For branches to which this does not apply, consider a sale or closure. The goal, however, is to keep the Klinck chain of hairdressers permanently.
The company celebrated its 90th anniversary this year. The managing directors are the granddaughters of the founders Wilhelm Klinck, Monika and Susanne Klinck.
