Mazda has reworked his flagship. The facelift comes with more powerful engines, a more distinctive front and a new interior.

All engines are now compliant with the Euro 6d TEMP emission standard. You can choose between three petrol engines (107 kW / 145 hp at 143 kW / 194 hp) and two diesel engines (110 kW / 150 hp and 135 kW / 184 hp). In fact, all the engines are enough to be comfortable with the 1.7 ton Mazda lighthouse. He is not a runner, but a cruiser. However, driving values are similar too. Even the 184 hp diesel requires nine seconds despite a maximum torque of 445 Nm to speed up to 100 km / h. Competitors such as the VW Pbadat or the Ford Mondeo are there – some clearly – faster in this regard.

The maximum speed of 220 km / h is correct, but not maximum. Consumption is Mazda's for the 184 horsepower sedan with 4.7 liters per 100 kilometers and 133 grams of CO2 per kilometer. In daily affairs, you can double the value with confidence. After all, an SCR exhaust gas purification system also reduces nitrogen emissions.
Traveling in the Mazda: Running
The Mazda6 is even more than its predecessor, a comfortable touring sedan. Engineers have once again significantly lowered the noise level – so the Bose sound system is not a useless luxury. The steering is precise and not too smooth, the six – speed automatic runs almost unnoticed and is perfectly adjusted to the engine 's power. Standard is usually a 6-speed manual transmission. On a long straight line, the Mazda6 remains without much directional corrections in the track, around curves that it circles like on rails. The suspension captures almost any bump on highways, and on motorways even before it reaches its seat, not to mention its elongated spine. For the facelift, the technicians modified the suspension and improved the rigidity of the body – noticeable. And they packed a lot of helpful help systems in the Mazda6, which are usually available as standard.

The Mazda6 is as usual a sedan and a spacious station wagon, both at the same price, let's go for the 145 hp petrol engine at 27,590 euros, the diesel 184 ch costs in the automatic version from 40 990 euros. And then in a (nearly) complete equipment – only the leather, the glbad sunroof and the Sports-Line Plus pack are still in the list of supplements.
