Berlin / dpa – After storms in southwestern Germany, meteorologists are waiting for more violent thunderstorms and a great danger of wildfire . According to the German Meteorological Service (DWD) prediction, thunderstorms, hailstorms and thunderstorms can occur from southwest to Thuringia and Saxony
Kachelmannwetter meteorological service reports the first storms of Baden-Württemberg and Saarland. The DWD said that at the same time, the risks of forest fires are high or very high due to extreme drought conditions – with the exception of southern Bavaria.
The weather does not bring down the temperature: Thursday is supposed to stay wet and warm between 25 and 32 degrees. Only the coastal environment makes an exception with 20 degrees and a lot of clouds. Sometimes it can rain easily on the North Sea.
In the night of Friday, other clouds are expected to increase. In the south, heavy showers and thunderstorms at low temperatures of 11 degrees are expected. However, northern and central Germany remain largely dry between 12 and 16 degrees.
For the weekend, the weather could still improve: according to meteorologists, Saturday will be sunny and dry. Only on the edge of the Alps is rain and thunderstorms to be expected. Maximum values should be 24 degrees in the north and 30 degrees in the rest of the country.
