He thought he was very intelligent, but the police were smarter: at Irschenberg, a Munich (59) slowed the radar, but was then filmed at 200 km / h.

Irschenberg – Thursday at 10:45, so it says in the press release of the police highway Holzkirchen, driving a 59-year-old Munich Audi driver, the A8 towards Munich. At the height of Irschenberg, he seemed in a hurry and felt safe thanks to his local knowledge.

In the range where the maximum authorized speed was 100 km / h, it was traveling at an average speed of 140 km / h. He braked his vehicle at the speed allowed in front of a gantry crane which he knew he had a radar station. After having pbaded the gantry, it again strongly accelerated at a maximum speed of 200 km / h.

What he did not know: behind him was a so-called police video car with a calibrated speed measuring system, which documented his misbehavior on tape. Turn on the blue light appeared very quickly. The driver of the Audi was stopped on the next parking lot and opposed it. He is now awaiting a fine of 450 euros and a driving ban of one month.

So he is in good company: On Irschenberg, drivers are always too fast, and sometimes even cheeky.
