A woman from Munich died in an accident on Marienplatz. She wanted to go down the stairs on the way to the subway and fell heavily.
Munich – As the police only announced on Wednesday, a tragic accident at Marienplatz took place on Saturday. At 10:20 pm, a 77-year-old man descends the stairs of the Weinstraße to Marienplatz underground station.

According to several witnesses, she lost balance and collapsed on the few steps. According to the police, she hit her head against the ground and lost consciousness.
The 77-year-old Munich woman was taken to hospital by the ambulance, where she died on Tuesday at noon. This is not the first tragic accident on Marienplatz in which a pedestrian died mortally.
