Die Schutzmaßnahmen (safeguard measures) nach den Regeln der Welthandelsorganisation können verhängt werden, wenn Einfuhren die Industrie des Marktes "ernsthaft" schädigen oder zu schädigen drohen.

Die EU-Kommission habe festgestellt, dbad die WTO- und EU-rechtlichen Voraussetzungen für den Erlbad derartiger Schutzmaßnahmen gegeben seien, zitierte das "Handelsblatt" aus der Regierungsantwort. Der 20-jährige XXXTentacion war am 18. Juni vor einem Motorradgeschäft in Deerfield Beach nördlich von Miami in Florida erschossen worden. Die Polizei geht davon aus, dbad die tödlichen Schüsse im Zuge eines versuchten Raubüberfalls fielen. Zwei Tage nach dem Mord hatte die Polizei einen ersten Verdächtigen festgenommen, der ebenfalls 22 Jahre alt ist. Nach einem weiteren 22-Jährigen wird noch gefahndet.

XXXTentacion war einer der Stars der jungen Hip-Hop-Szene in den USA. Berühmt wurde der Rapper mit Veröffentlichungen auf der Plattform SoundCloud.
