Since the beginning of the year, a budget management has applied, but especially strongly limits the possibility of new financial accents of the government.
Already Friday, the Cabinet must discuss the federal budget for 2019. The project of the Minister of Finance Olaf Scholz provides revenue and expenditure of 356.8 billion euros each; That's 3.8% more than the current year. A significant increase of around four billion euros is expected to affect the defense budget. This will be already increased in 2018, but to a lesser extent.
