Shortly before 8 am police and rescue workers are deployed on Krofdorfer Straße. Reported in a short time a family dispute and a smoke from an apartment in the same house. The backgrounds and a precise course of events are currently unknown. Procuratorate and criminal investigation began the investigation. The ambulance service provided for seemingly non-fatal injuries to a woman and three minor children. A rescue helicopter landed on the Sachsenhäuser bridge and transported one of the children to the Marburg hospital. The man has suffered serious injuries putting his life at risk by jumping or falling from a window and is currently hospitalized. The fire department was able to extinguish the fire in the apartment. As a result of what happened, there were no other people injured in the building according to previous knowledge. There is no danger for the population. Krofdorfer Straße and Rodheimer Straße are still closed for the search for clues, investigations, research samples and initial interviews. The police have issued a corresponding broadcast alert and will also announce the end of the suspension.
