President: Macron's first response to the scandal surrounding former Benalla employee

As part of the investigation, three police officers were first suspended and placed in police custody. They would have obtained videos of Benalla from surveillance cameras of the city of Paris. The five suspects were placed under legal control.

Because the incident had long been known by the government, but that the prosecution has not been informed, President Macron is under pressure in the matter. Interior Minister Gerard Collomb was to be questioned Monday morning by an inquiry commission of the National Assembly on this subject.
