I have already experienced a lot of manipulation of German media and Russian misinformation. But that politicians and the media "Hate Hunting" invent freely or at least without control the spread of this misinformation was for me a new quality of false reports in Germany. The media and the green and left politicians, who felt trapped by their false information, then demanded my release. In my opinion, it was the SPD's left-wing forces, who were immediately opposed to forming a coalition with the CDU / CSU, a prime opportunity to bring about a break with this ruling coalition. As I am known in Germany as a critic of an idealized, naive and foreign security policy, it was also an opportunity for my political opponents and for some media to make me leave my office.
