Few hours before the biggest fireworks of the United States for Independence Day in New York , an anti-Trump demonstration evacuated Liberty Island on which stands the Statue of Liberty. Protesters from the "Rise and Resist" group had already staged a protest poster there. Then they asked for the abolition of the US Immigration Police ICE

A woman then climbed on the basis of the well-known statue, which is a symbol of freedom and immigration in the whole world. She could be moved to the task only after two hours. New York police arrested the woman and other protesters.

On July 4, the entire United States celebrates Independence Day. Liberty Island is usually crowded with tourists at this time of day. The National Park Service has evacuated the popular tourist attraction as a precaution.

It was only in February that protesters attached a large poster to the Statue of Liberty, entitled "Refugees are Welcome." The current protest mainly targeted the ICE immigration police, who also established in New York many illegal immigrants and prepared their deportation.

ICE was responsible for, among other things, the post-US protests of US President Donald Trump. Separate illegal immigrant families at the border between the United States and Mexico, arrest their parents and distribute children throughout the country in children's homes.
