The product concerned is the product "Grated young Milbona Gouda, ripened for at least 7 weeks" in the 250-gram package with expiry date 21 April 2019, identity plate NL Z 0507 i CE and lot numbers 834799538051020190121 and 83479953805102119012.

Never consume

As stated by the manufacturer, it can not be ruled out that plastic products are contained in the product concerned. "Because of the potential risk of injury when eating, customers should absolutely pay close attention to the recall and never consume the product," warns Lidl in a piece of information intended for customers on the discounter's website.

According to Lidl, the product concerned can be returned to any store without receipt of the receipt. The purchase price will be refunded. Deliquer's grated cheese was distributed in the Länder of North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate. As Lidl points out, the product has already been removed from stores.
