An AfD politician leaves the party
Steffen Königer, AfD politician from Brandenburg, leaves the party. He is troubled by the helplessness of moderates vis-à-vis the radical forces of AFD, the MP said.
Steffen Königer, a member of AfD's board, said his resignation from the party.

IIn the AfD, he rumbled enormously. Steffen Königer, a member of the Brandenburg parliament and member of the AFD Federal Executive Committee, surprisingly announced his resignation and left the party. He also announced that he wished to leave the group.
In a press release, Königer explained his motives.
Incoherent with consciousness
"The AfD bourgeois have finally lost the fight against the destructive elements of the party in many state badociations," King said. "Within the party, the enthusiasm aroused by the deliberate pbadage of some protagonists to the border does not diminish." An observation of constitutional protection would be accepted negligibly by too many officials. "Stay in the party," König continued, "in these circumstances, I can no longer agree with my conscience."
Königer has been a member of the Federal Executive Committee of the AfD since December 2017. He is one of six evaluators.
During a vote in this body, he voted Monday for the Young Alternative, the youth organization of AFD, to withdraw its status of official organization and to recover. The party leadership then decided that the option of a redesign of the male alternative by a small party convention (Convention) to consider.
In early November, the JA-Bundesverband decided to dissolve the Landesverband Niedersachsen. He responded to an observation in progress since September of the constitutional protection of Lower Saxony. The JA badociations of Baden-Württemberg and Bremen are also supervised by the respective regional offices.
Annoyance on Pro Chemnitz and Pegida
King is awarded to the moderate wing of the AfD and applies in Brandenburg as the opponent of the country AfD and the parliamentary leader Andreas Kalbitz.
Already in the past, it was noted that kings were less and less at the mercy of his party. In September, for example, he publicly stated that some of his party colleagues did not always look good in the past. The fact that the AfD parade in Chemnitz with Pro Chemnitz and Pegida angered him.
König will now be a member of the Brandenburg Parliament as a non-attached Member. He announced a press conference.
