Many SD stations are no longer available for Sky satellite since today. Sky receivers start a channel search themselves. Some third-party devices must be updated by the user.
Today, on the morning of 29 November, Sky Deutschland has completed a significant frequency shift on Astra (19.2 ° East), which concerns all households served by Sky satellites. Many SD stations are off and only broadcast in HD resolution, many stations change frequency (here at the article DF with all channels affected). There are more than 100 changes in total.
While Sky receivers automatically join the changes, only a few third-party devices update. Households receiving Sky channels via the CI + module via a Smart TV or a receiver, after a new search in the list of laborious tasks to set up or to engage the specialized company.
With the service of updating the list of senders of Sattechnik, the list of stations can be updated comfortably and free of charge. At the same time as the Sky frequency change, the service will provide new station lists that already contain all the changes. Supported devices include Samsung and Panasonic TVs, as well as satellite receivers using the Enigma2 operating system.
The new station listings can now be downloaded for free and transferred to the TV and receiver via a USB stick.
