Synology DS1819 + now available

Synology, Manufacturer of NAS systems, has announced the availability of a new device. The DiskStation DS1819 + is a high-end NAS, with an incredible number of 8 cards by default – up to 18 drives are paired with two DX517s.

Synology also mentions the new Intel processor (new in the sense of: introduced by Intel in the third quarter of 2017) and a sequential increase in playback performance of 57% that justifies switching from legacy devices to new ones.

Of course, the pleasure is not cheap: a little less than 1,000 euros goes to the Synology DS1819 +. As a pure data flaw, such a thing is of course far too expensive, because many of those who want 8bay, certainly something like the range of values ​​will suffice, there is for example the DS1817 on the program. The less powerful then comes an Alpine AL-314 Annapurna Labs with 1.7 GHz used.
