L Os Angeles (AP) – Donald Trump's commemorative plaque on Hollywood's "Walk of Fame" was again damaged. The incident occurred early in the morning, said Wednesday a spokesman for the police, the German news agency.
A 24-year-old man was arrested. He had to answer for vandalism in the courts. The star badge was broken with a pickaxe.
Already in October 2016, shortly before Trump's electoral victory, the plaque was demolished by a man with a hammer and a pickaxe. The 52-year-old man was sentenced to a probationary period. He also had to pay for the repair costs. After the act, the wealthy businessman had stated that he had acted with anger because of Trump's treatment of women and minorities.
Trump received the plaque in 2007 for his television shows. It's right next to actor Kevin Spacey in a block of streets in front of the Hollywood & Highland Center. The "Walk of Fame" with more than 2,600 stars honors the merit of show business. It runs through the center of Hollywood.
