Bastian Schweinsteiger is still not enough. Even at the age of 34, the 2014 World Champion is still in the mood for football and stays true to his club.
Former world football champion Bastian Schweinsteiger continues his career and will play again next year for the American professional club Chicago Fire. The former captain of the German national team announced Wednesday in a video on Twitter.
"I believe in the club and I think we can become champions, this trip to America is special for my family and me," the 34-year-old said.

Schweinsteiger has been playing since March 2017 for Chicago. In his first season in the professional league, MLS, the former midfielder of Germany's champions, Bayern Munich, immediately reached the play-offs. In contrast, Schweinsteiger and the Illinois State Club have missed the final in the past year.
After that, it was initially unclear whether Schweinsteiger, who is by far the first player in his club with the equivalent of 4.93 million euros, will stay in Chicago.
