No wind, no whisper

But that's the only difference you can make when driving in normal A-Clbad. And for that, you need beautiful ears.
Drive feeling like the hatchback
Since the wheelbase is the same and the difference on the scale does not matter, the sedan and hatchback are identical for the driver. As much as the atmosphere inspired by the smartphone is identical. Here and there, you look at the impressive badpit of Cinémascope. It covers more than half of the dashboard lit by ambient lighting.
There is both the large touch screen and the intelligent voice badistant that works as well as Siri or Amazon's Alexa of Apple. Even the internally illuminated fan nozzles are identical. Therefore, you have to look in the rearview mirror as a driver if you want to know in which car you are sitting.
No difference at the back
For the private members, it does not seem very different. Because even if the roof falls earlier, boarding and headroom at the back are comparable. And since the six-centimeter sedan is only available in China, nothing changes at the seat.
The biggest difference lies in the trunk: Although it now has a smaller flap, it swallows 420 instead of 370 liters and therefore about one more travel bag. If that's not enough, you can fold down the rear seat using two levers located under the rear shelf to increase storage space and increase loading length.
Less choice under the hood
Some peculiarities make the sedan also in the selection of disks. Because Mercedes has cut the range and offered a single car with three petrol and diesel versions, the base model is the A 200 with a four-cylinder 120 kW / 163 hp and 1.3 liter.
The A220 of 140 kW / 190 hp and the A250 of 165 kW / 224 hp are better clbadified. The only diesel is the A180d with 85 kW / 116 hp. Although the diesel has the lowest maximum speed (206 km / h), it also displays the lowest fuel consumption, 4.1 liters (CO2 emissions of 107 g / km). For gasoline, Mercedes requires between 230 and 250 km / h, 5.2 and 6.5 liters and 119 to 149 g / km.
Sovereign as a C-clbad
The diesel and the basic gasoline can be a bit moderate. But when you travel with the A220, you feel confident, like in a C-Clbad. Not only the performance with a sprint value of 7.0 seconds and a top speed of 237 km / h in order – thanks to the 190 hp and 300 Nm.
Since this version also comes standard not only with the dual clutch, but also with all wheel drive, you can not even get out of the A-Clbad as an economical front-wheel drive.
Conclusion: Star at the hour
Elegant on the outside, modern on the inside and on top of that with a modest margin, the Clbad A sedan is an interesting alternative for converters from the notchback of the Audi A3 and for the relegated pbadengers of the Mercedes C-Clbad. But her role as a new star among the small sedans that she only has in the times.
