This is a result of increased supply and a decline demand as a result of the trade conflict the Sunday newspaper, citing experts.
According to new statistics, a record 2.5 billion pounds (1.04 billion kilograms) of beef and pork and poultry will be reported. These statistics are expected in the coming days

The consumer appetite for meat is increasing – but not fast enough
Mexico and China imposed special tariffs
This would make US meat production increasingly dependent on exports, but both Mexico and China would have imposed special duties on American pork. That would make American meat more expensive in these markets.
According to reports, Mexico and Brazil are among the largest importers of American meat. Both countries have collected special rights in retaliation for US special rights on steel, aluminum and other goods.
