"For too many people, mulled wine has a bad image," she says. Many people think that mulled wine is simply a "sweet pest that causes headaches". There are some great hot wines.
She prefers a clbadic red wine from the Dornfelder grape variety. What should there be when she prepares it? "Star anise, clove, cinnamon and a few slices of orange." She always starts her first mulled wine year-round with her family at the end of October, says Schweigstill. She is trained as a wholesale trader and foreign trade in a sparkling wine cellar.
