Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maas warns US President Donald Trump against agreements with Russian President Vladimir Putin . "Unilateral transactions at the expense of one's own partners end up hurting the United States," Maas told Bild am Sonntag. "If you offend your partners, you risk being a loser in the end."

Trump meets Putin on Monday to conclude his trip to Europe in Helsinki. After the provocations and scams of the US President at the NATO summit and in Britain, Western allies are nervous about the summit. The meeting is also eclipsed by the US indictment of 12 Russian intelligence officials responsible for the hacking of US Democrats during the 2016 election campaign.
