Frankfurt The Munich-based software company Brainloop, which specializes in the exchange of confidential documents, has to pbad into the hands of Americans. New York-based Diligent Corp. intends to buy back the company, which was founded in 2000, and has already notified the project to the Bundeskartellamt in June, according to the agency's data on the Internet.

The "Welt am Sonntag" had first reported on this subject. Brainloop announces that the security software is developed in Germany and that highly confidential data is encrypted and stored only in data centers in Europe. Customers include many Dax companies such as Bayer, BMW, Linde or Infineon.
