In the course of geography, a 13-year-old student from Schleswig-Holstein was to visit a mosque. He is close to his school, the Kronwerk Gymnasium Rendsburg

. The parents found that it was an indoctrination of their child. It is religious education, and since the family is non-denominational, his son does not have to attend. On the other hand, the school regarded this as schooling and as a violation of compulsory schooling. The case, which is now two years ago, has landed in court.

Now the Meldorf District Court has decided: The parents must pay 50 € fine because they have forbidden their son to visit the mosque. After a few round trips, which concerned legal responsibilities, the district court ruled that: The short visit should not be considered as a religious education, but the "religious references" were not sufficient. There was no indoctrination and no publicity for Islam. First, the "Kieler Nachrichten" reported on the case.

The judge appealed his decisions on Wednesday on the judgments of the Federal Constitutional Court and the Federal Administrative Court. The decision is not yet final

The parents' lawyer, Düsseldorf family's lawyer, Alexander Heumann, now wants to check if he lodges a complaint against the decision. He is a member of the badociation "Bürgerbewegung Pax Europa", which warns against an "Islamization" of society. He sees the Rendsburg Mosque as an "architectural stain" and represents the parents' view, "that you can force anyone against his free will to enter a sacred building".

In addition, parents feared for "the life and physical integrity" of their son. They had heard so many reports of Islamist violence that they did not want to send their child "to people who despise him as so-called unfaithful."
