Alexa opens the next chapter on Sonos devices: owners of Sonos home audio systems now have access to audible audiobook archives via Amazon's voice badistants.

Sonos informs users of the new Audible feature via Twitter

The Sonos sound system maker itself announces the happy news for its loyal customers via the instant messenger service Twitter: "Alexa, chapter following". They said here and there: "You can start the story at bedtime and interrupt when the phone rings, it's easy, just ask."

Sonos launches its first connected speaker in 2005. Since then, about 19 million speakers have found their place in about 6.9 million homes. This means that these households have on average almost three devices. Despite the considerable amount of body sold, the company does not make a profit.
