Storms are threatening locally with heavy rains, hail and storm gusts, as announced by the German Meteorological Service (DWD) on Thursday. In the district of Ludwigsburg, police reported numerous obstacles to traffic. Because the road was flooded, a tunnel had to be closed. A woman got stuck in Bietigheim-Bissingen with her car in a flooded underpbad and had to get out of the car. In Ingersheim, after a lightning strike in the chimney of a residential building, a fire broke out. The material damage was of the order of 30 000 euros.
Despite thunderstorms, it is still wet with temperatures ranging from 21 degrees in the mountains to 29 degrees in the Hohenlohe area.
