Get Hulu for $ 2 per month as a student

In case you aren’t already swimming in streaming service subscriptions, Hulu offers a discounted $ 2 monthly plan for students. However, note that if you have been out of college for a long time and have an .edu email address, that will not be enough to qualify as a “student”. Hulu verifies that you are Actually attending school.

The new student plan

The ad-supported plan offers two simultaneous streams that allow you to watch content on demand, which includes original programming like The Handmaid’s Tale and Palm springs, as well as content from ABC, NBC, Fox, Bravo, USA Network, FXX, and other channels. It’s a open secret people use their .edu email accounts to get student discounts years after graduating from college, but Hulu actually checks your status. In partnership with the SheerID verification service, you will need to provide the name of your college or university. By Hulu:

Offer valid for new and existing Hulu billed subscribers enrolled in an accredited US Title IV college or university who meet verification requirements. Verification performed via SheerID; Registration information (e.g. first name, last name, college / university name, date of birth) should be provided to SheerID for verification. Automatic rechecking performed annually.
