An 11-year-old boy from Douglas County, United States, became an internet sensation overnight after saving his siblings from a hell that had ravaged their home.

The fire broke out in the morning and the young boy acted quickly after hearing a fire alarm.
Police and firefighters arrived and found the boy had saved his siblings.

The young boy whose name is still a mystery has been hailed by many on social media after he managed to save his siblings from death as an early morning fire ravaged their home.

Wsbtv.com reported that the fire started around 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 4.

The family were fortunate enough as Douglas County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene at Greenbrook Drive just in time to help put out the blaze.

According to some reports, firefighters arrived at the scene when the single-family home was about 50% on fire.

Fortunately, five family members had been successfully evacuated from the burning house when investigators and firefighters arrived.

When help arrived, they learned that the 11-year-old boy was the first to hear the house fire alarm and responded accordingly.

TUKO.co.ke understands that the house had fire alarms which caught the attention of the child who took action.

It was then that the young boy alerted his other siblings aged 6, 8, 9 and 14 of the danger.

Fortunately, all of the children were able to get out of the house without any injuries.

The children were rescued but the house was badly damaged, with the owners reckoning a loss of KSh 12,000,000.

YEN.com.gh understands that the Douglas County Fire Department is still investigating the cause of the fire.

It comes a few days later YEN.com.gh reported how a 4-year-old girl in Florida saved her entire family and home after a fire broke out.

Fox 2 Detroit reported that a Florida dad was ecstatic after his 4-year-old daughter saved the family home after seeing a fire in the kitchen.

According to the father, named Daniel Patrick Jermyn, he had prepared lunch for his family and was about to go out when the fire broke out.

The father said his daughter, named Amelia, was in the living room listening to and dancing to songs from Frozen when she noticed smoke in the kitchen.

Jermyn the dad told the media his daughter had come looking for him and when she found him she was quick to urge him to go see what was going on in the kitchen.

The father said she could sense that something was definitely wrong with the way her daughter was acting.

“Hey daddy, you gotta come check this out. cried the girl.

It was then that the father rushed into the kitchen and discovered that some of the appliances had caught fire.

Quickly, the father grabbed the household appliances and threw them into the garden pool.
