Ok, that's a joke, of course, since Tesla is not dead and certainly has not died in 11 years! However, for those of you who thought this idea of an 11 year anniversary of Tesla 's death was a joke on April 1st, I badure you this is not the case!
One of the frustrating things as a result of Tesla for many years is that misplaced attacks on Tesla, Tesla's criticisms and Tesla smears have not dissipated over time, as Tesla has proved. In fact, despite so many "impossible" achievements and despite the fact that Tesla has absolutely adopted its secret 2006 master plan, the criticisms and blunders seem to have increased.
This can be super frustrating and boring – the only ignorance, not to mention the many implications. However, it can also be funny. Seriously, critics predict the impending death of Tesla for over ten years! Where is Mark Twain when you need him?
Writing Tesla Flashback and Morning Monkey Business is a fun way to respond to these nonsense in progress, but I realized that I could do better, but also have a much more positive and concrete impact. I could organize a celebration, even a world celebration, a network of celebrations!
Of course, for a network of celebrations, I need a lot more than myself. I need Tesla owners and fans around the world to share their love for Tesla in a generous and plentiful way. As I indicated when I announced this:
You can focus on the trials and show the super-splendid Tesla Model 3, Model X, Model S and Roadster.
You can organize a house party, a pool party or a Tesla camping party.
You can launch an epic road trip, organize a Tesla parade, plan a Tesla drag racing day or create a Tesla treasure hunt.
You can organize a junk food party, organize a day of pranks using Tesla Summon or try to break the record of the greatest number of Model X dancers.
You can do a lot of things. The goal is to have fun and spread the good news that Tesla, in reality, is not dead and will not die any time soon. On the contrary, Tesla sees its growth explode, Tesla has the most satisfied buyers of the automotive market, Tesla offers a better car than the BMW 330i but whose total cost of ownership is comparable to that of a car. Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, Tesla has beaten countless sales records, and Tesla is essentially in a category on its own at the top of the auto market.
I spent some time trying to find the best way to organize the organizers. After considering pretty cards, a dedicated website, etc., I came across a very basic and simple approach with which I've seen it work over and over again. Tesla owners and fans – a sheet of Google (or two).
If you want to participate in an already planned event, watch what happens right here and send an e-mail or an SMS to the organizer.
If you want to organize an event, use our contact form and choose the option "I wish to host or participate in an anniversary event of the 11-year-old Tesla's death!" Just do it.
The general plan is for all events to take place on May 19th. Since this 11th anniversary of Tesla Death Watch, we are flexible. You can organize an event for another day if the 19th does not suit you. Leave us the information and we will promote it. Of course, you should also post articles about it on reddit, Twitter, Facebook, through your local Tesla Owners Group or your EV Club, and wherever you think you can attract attention.
The sooner you tell us your involvement, the more we can market your event and help bring more support to the organization and the participants. We are really going to set fire to this network of celebrations – to a boring degree – so we hope you will not hold back your own desire to participate in the party!
Thanks to a handful of initial leaders, we have planned the following events, but we are just starting:
- Cincinnati, Ohio
- Dallas, Texas
- Krakow, Poland / Poland
- Oxnard, California
- Tampa, Florida
- Thisted – Nykøbing M., Denmark
- Twin Cities, MN
Keywords: Tesla, Tesla death anniversary, Tesla death watch, Tesla events, Tesla flashback, Tesla road tests
