Daphine Nakimuli, a 13-year-old girl in Uganda committed suicide by hanging herself after being berated by her parents for her poor performance in the PLE results.

The deceased was reportedly a resident of Kinuubi East, Bwikya Ward in Mparo Division, Hoima City, and had just completed her PLE at Bwikya Primary where she obtained 28 aggregates in all four subjects.
Neighbors also said the teenager committed suicide after being abused by her parents for failing exams and wasting money paying her school fees.
The deceased, however, left an emotional note describing how she felt unloved, describing how her siblings and parents berated her for her performance in the PLE results, and that she decided to kill herself for herself. get rid of it.
Feeling unloved and abandoned, Daphine Nakimuli went to the back of their house, grabbed a rope and hanged herself from a jackfruit tree.

Meanwhile, James-Oppong Boanuh, Inspector General of Police, was reportedly dismissed as a COP, Dr George Akuffo Dampare was appointed as the new IGP.
