Young Mission Entertainment Executive Director Nana Yaw Amoako recently said Patapaa had only played three people on one of her shows in Europe.
Amoako said 16 people, including the Patapaa developer, had attended the show and not three, as the media speculated.
Patapaa returned from his European tour not so long ago and refused to grant the media an interview at the airport because its promoters, Mr Amoako and others, have Disappointed by not paying it fully.
He was teased on social media when an article appeared online saying that it had only happened in front of three fans in Norway.
Describing attendance as mediocre, the tour leader said that due to the low attendance rate, the promoter was unlikely to pay them.
Speaking at Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, he stated that there was "no contract with the artist involved". [Patapaa] and the Norwegian promoter, I rather negotiated with him to work on something for us. They did not even see the contract signed.
"So that night, when we got there, on entering the event room, I saw 16 people, I was like wow, I counted … then I've seen the 16 people, including the promoter himself, will not pay us, "he said.
