Tests revealed that clients had recently been infected with the same strain of the virus, "thus increasing the likelihood that both HIV infections result from a procedure at the VIP Spa," the press release said.

The spa, which closed in September after a medical inspection, offered "vampire facials", in which plasma is extracted from the client's blood and injected into the client's face, KRQE-TV reported.
