Some two students from St. Louis High School (JHS) in Kumasi who were allegedly abducted were finally found a few days after their “disappearance”.
According to a report seen by YEN.com.gh on Ghanaweb, the young women were found in Tafo in Kumasi in the homes of their boyfriends.
This was after a search team was tasked with locating them on Sunday, February 7, 2021, after a report was filed by their parents.
The boyfriends of the “missing JHS” girls had fled by the time the police arrived at their hiding place.
The teenage girls claimed to be kidnapped as they returned home from school on Friday February 5, 2021.
The victims, after the school closed, reportedly chose a taxi to transport them to Breman UGC where they live with their parents.
Arriving at Suame in the evening, the taxi driver turned away from the main route and took the girls to Suame Magazine, an area they are unfamiliar with.
One of the girls who managed to call her brother on the phone of one of the suspects who had dropped him in the room where they were keeping their victims said: “There are 10 people in the room. The boys and their bodyguards sleep with us. One of the girls who called her father with his own phone was stabbed with a knife ”.
The father of one of the victims who was part of the Suame Police Search Team collapsed because of the case.
The Ashanti regional police command has been informed of developments and is awaiting authorization to deploy additional men to rescue the girls.
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a pastor of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, Pastor Afolabi Samuel, was sentenced to 3 years in prison after being found guilty of theft.

The accountant and treasurer of the church were also brought before judge Mojisola Dada on two counts of conspiracy and theft.
