The director of the event dubbed "Sustainable Development and Social Investment Award" announced the opening of nominations for the 3rd edition of the Sustainable Development and Social Investment Awards ( SSI) 2019, scheduled for November 29, 2019 at the hotel Movenpick Ambbadador in Accra.

He added that the Sustainability and Social Investment Awards are an initiative endorsed by the Ministry of Education, the National Road Safety Commission, among others, and are aimed at identifying and publicly recognizing the impact of businesses, CSI / CSR foundations, NGOs, individuals and other executing agencies through exemplary success in the voluntary improvement of the quality of life of individuals and communities.

Mr. Adu Gyamfi Isaac explained: "The SDGs consist of 17 objectives and are subdivided into 169 targets applicable to both developing and developed countries. The Sustainable Development Goals focus on the greatest challenges facing humankind with the goal of ending poverty and hunger, misery and war, injustices and inequalities.
