Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panyin
Kyebi police, headquarters of Akyem Abuakwa 's traditional council in the eastern region, arrested three people who allegedly insulted Okyenhene, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin.
The suspects: Gabriel Oppong, 25, Patrick Frimpong, 30, and Jacob Arhin, 19, were in a vehicle linking Anyinam to Kyebi, after rained insults on Okyenhene.
A woman identified as Suzzy Owuredu, a Kyebi native who was not happy with the suspect's behavior, was exposed in the vehicle and then called the Ofori Panin police to report the suspects' reprehensible behavior.
The suspects reportedly described the Okyenhene in their insults as "stupid" and also used other derogatory words.
DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, the regional police PRO confirmed the incident to DGN Online.
