Three people suspected of being part of a union of sheep and goat thieves in the Bono-Est area were arrested by police.

The three, namely Yaw Gabriel, 27 years old; Solomon Boateng, 22, and Kwadwo Akins, 21, stole sheep belonging to Suleman Azat in Nsuta, in the municipality of Techiman.

They were arrested in Jema, in the southern district of Kintampo, while they were carrying sheep.

According to the police, Azat reportedly filed a complaint with Nsuta on April 23, 2019, about the animals stolen by thieves. The next day, the three suspects were arrested in a taxi registered GR 6261-18, driven by Solomon Boateng with the animals. concealed on board.

They were then taken back to the Nsuta Police Station and detained for further investigation.

Later, the chief detective of the regional police PRO, Augustine Oppong, confirmed the arrest and declared that the suspects were helping the police in their investigations and would be brought to justice if they were found guilty. .
