Arsenal would be interested in an attempt to replace Mesut Ozil by James Rodriguez of Bayern Munich. Here are three problems that I have with the proposed move.
According to somewhat insecure information in January, Arsenal plans to replace Mesut Ozil by Bayern Munich star James Rodriguez. Under the direction of Unai Emery, Ozil struggled to blossom and make the difference between his two playing styles. Rodriguez plays in the same position, but more closely matches what Emery is looking for. Although I have trouble believing the rumors, from this point of view there is some sense.
That being said, here are three problems I would encounter if this blockbuster transfer took place.

3. Ozil is better
I have never been the biggest fan of James Rodriguez. He was sensational during a period in Porto and Monaco, as well as in Colombia at the 2014 World Cup. But his form was at best inconsistent for Real Madrid, replaced by that of superior superior, Isco, and its productivity has fallen sharply since this brilliant summer of 2014.

I also have problems with Ozil, especially in the higher pace approach that Emery wants from his team. But as for the quality of the winning matches, give me the winner of the German World Cup against the flagrant Rodriguez.
That does not mean that Rodriguez is a bad player. He is obviously not. But he lacks speed, his pbad, his creativity and his vision are largely exceeded by Ozil, and he has no experience of English football. Thank you very much, but I will pbad on this occasion.
