Since the pro-fight came into being, a crucial factor has helped it become the global phenomenon it is today.
This factor is the fight fans. They are the ones who make or break a superstar. They spend their hard earned money to watch weekly shows and watch the action unfold inside the square circle. One of the most embarrbading things as a wrestler can be playing a match in an almost empty arena, or even worse, an arena full of disinterested fans.
Although most of the time, WWE cameramen focus on the action that takes place inside the ring, they sometimes turn the camera to the WWE universe to find out their reactions .
There have been many cases in the past where these cameras attracted a WWE fan just when they were heavily invested in the ring. With weekly shows being watched by millions of fans around the world, it's common for a single reaction from fans to be noticed and shared on social networks by thousands of people. Here are three cases in which WWE fans gained fame overnight by becoming hot topics on social media and wrestling forums.
# 3 Brock Lesnar Guy (Michael Corcoran)
Corcoran, a fan of wrestling ever since, has become an Internet sensation on Raw after WrestleMania 28, when Brock Lesnar made his long-awaited return to face John Cena.
As soon as Lesnar's music hit, the crowd of fans roared in unison, in one of the greatest pop of the modern era. This guy, however, stood out from the crowd. When Lesnar appeared on the ramp, he realized his signature pose that the fans had not seen for 8 years. The camera quickly turned to Brock Lesnar Guy, who pbadionately imitated the thunderous pose of the beast.
Almost instantly, social media began to overwhelm with this particular image and it did not take much time to become a famous meme even to appear in the same database, KnowYourMeme.
Eventually, his popularity has weakened and today, he is constantly being criticized and ridiculed on the wrestling forums for being one of the most heinous fans out there.
