An animation studio in the Japanese city of Kyoto was set on fire on Thursday … killing 33 people and injuring 36 others.
Police suspect that there is a arson attack by a 41 year old man who was seen pouring gasoline on the first floor entrance from the Kyoto animation studio.
The suspect was carrying jerry cans, kitchen knives and a hammer.
According to witnesses, he shouted "You die" before setting fire to gasoline.
The suspect is currently in the hospital with severe burns.
Seventy-four people were inside the studio at the time of the fire that was shut down by the authorities only after five o'clock.
