Shatta Award Music9 play the videoShatta Wale won eight awards at the 3Music Awards

Although the organizers of the 3Music Awards promised to make sure this year's edition would start on time, they could not keep that promise.

The time announced for the show, which ended Saturday, March 30 at the Fantasy Dome, Accra fair, was 20 hours, but it finally began at around 11 pm and highlighted the expectation very expected.

When the show started, it was nice for the guests. Last year, Shatta Wale, artist of Dancehall, could not happen because of the time of last year and this year he opened the event with a big number .

Young bands doing the most things, including Cina Soul, Tulenkey, Kofi Mole, Adina, Akwaboah, Dope Nation and The Meme Gang, all had a good time.

Medikal was at the rendezvous of the evening and he did not disappoint the clients while he was performing his success, Omo Ada. He has also performed other songs like Too Risky, Gimme Vibe and Wrowroho.

Although he won no awards at night and performed at almost empty seats, Samini showed maturity in achieving a wonderful performance.

When he went on stage at 3:30 in the morning, virtually everyone had come out of the auditorium, but Samini continued to thrill the few guests who remained.

Just after releasing his first hit song Linda, he said: "I do not have a price and the place is empty, but the few Samini fans will have the best of me".

Samini has performed songs such as Obaa, My Own, Movement, Where My Baby Dey and Master Key, among others.

Another artist who has also been very successful is the famous Reggae artist, Rocky Dawuni. Although it also happened late and only to a few people, he presented an excellent show.

Shatta Wale, Dancehall artist, won the trophy with eight awards. He won the title of army of fans of the year, the act reggae / dancehall of the year, the digital act of the year, the reggae song / dancehall of the year, the best video, the viral song of the year, the song of the year and the man of the year.

Stonebwoy also won three awards that night: year album, Afrobeats year song and most broadcast song on Boomplay.

The Bethel Revival Choir has won the hearts of many by winning three awards tonight. The band has won the Gospel Song of the Year, Gospel Act of the Year and Group of the Year award.

Professor Kofi Abraham, a veteran gospel musician, received the Legendary Award. He said that he has been making music since 1970 and that the price was important to him.

Another veteran Highlife musician, Obuoba J. A. Adofo and music producer Mark Okraku Mantey have also received honorary awards.

The staging was beautiful and the animators, Lexis Bill and Cookie were fantastic, but the event would have received an extra touch if most of the winners were present to receive their prize.
