File: animals will be auctioned at a higher price
The Ga West Municipal Assembly has announced the auction of four goats today on its badembly site in Accra.
In an advertisement published and signed by Christiana Marku Teye-Angmor, municipal officer of environmental hygiene, the goats were arrested on June 3, 2019.
After the arrest, the goats were taken to the courtyard of the municipal badembly.
The auction according to the publication will be made at Amasaman at 15 hours.
According to the statutes of the Assembly, whoever leaves his animals free on the streets is guilty of an offense.
Under the regulations, when a impounded animal is not claimed within four days, the Assembly will post a notice of impoundment at a conspicuous place in the area. for six days.
At the expiration of the specified time period, if the animal is not claimed, it will be sold by public auction by an approved auctioneer or another person designated for this purpose by the Assembly. .
